I have both an in-home corded Waterpik and a just recently purchased travel Waterpik. I am immensely satisfied with both, but especially with the travel version as it is easy to handle in various positions and I like the fact it has 3 selections for water stream force, making it very effective for a majority of peoples' needs. It is easy to fill and clean. I highly recommend this model WP-580.
I always hated how string floss cut into my gums and got gunk on my fingers so have never been much of a flosser even though I knew it was a critical part of my oral health.
After doing research online and reading lots of reviews by experts & customers, I decided a cordless waterproof one would be a worthwhile investment to get me to floss. Besides the 2 main features (my favs!), it has 6 different attachment heads and multiple power settings (including Low which is perfect for a newbie like me. I don’t find it too intense at all). I was worried the water reservoir wouldn't be big enough, but it lasts ~45 seconds which works great for me to get around the inside and outside of my gums & teeth without any water refill. The online videos were very helpful so I would know what to expect and the best way to use it.
I’m still working on my gum line technique, but I don’t splash everywhere and my mouth feels extra clean. I think I’ve found the right flosser for me and I’m excited to get positive feedback at my next dental appointment!
I did not receive the attachment with my device. How do i receive the attachments
I would recommend this to a friend!

My periodontist recommended this and I really like it. I can't believe how much stuff you can't get with flossing. It is easy to use, charge lasts quite a while. It runs for about 45 seconds, sometimes I fill it again but for the most part 45 seconds is good.
Overall, I'm very happy with the WP-580. The pros are it's portability and not tied to a hose. The one thing I don't care for is the button layout. I find myself inadvertently switching the unit on while changing hands during usage consequently spraying water on my mirror. Also removal of the water tank in order to drain can be an ordeal at times. Still the benefits outweigh the difficulties. I also ordered the whitening kit which I have been using. The jury is still out on that whether nor not it's effective.
