I purchased this for the first time and I noticed an almost immediate improvement in my oral health. The hard to reach places that dental floss was not reaching improved within a couple of weeks of daily use. My dentist recommended I use Listerine instead of water, so I have been doing that. I do rinse out the Waterpik regularly. No complaints!

It is pretty heavy and bulky. Not a good product for the elderly or persons with small hands. I need to refill water halfway through brushing even on the lowest setting.
I have not traveled with it so cannot address that issue.
