We're sorry that you are not satisfied with the WP-580. The charge indicator on the handle will flash when charging and will turn off when the unit is fully charged. When the batteries are in need of charging (approximately 30% charge left) the charge indicator light will blink 3 times quickly to indicate that the user should consider recharging the unit. Was told by my dental hygienist and dentist to invest in a water flosser. After much research, decided on this model. Works very well, like the different levels of pressure and pics that come with it. Had oral surgery recently and awaiting periodontist approval so I can start using again. Leaves the feeling of clean like you just left the office. I use warm water with a bit of mouthwash mixed in for a good cleaning/feeling.

The charging cord is compatible with most standard wall plugs that many of us already have from other devices.
