This knife is light, the action is ever so slightly stiff but not bad at all. I bought this mainly because I really liked the finish both in terms of the blade, and the carbon fiber to compliment it, but another big reason I pulled the trigger on it was the lock mechanism. It's much lighter than you would expect and I mean that as a good thing. It disappears in your pocket but don't let the light weight fool you into thinking it's not up to task as an EDC, it's not the heaviest duty knife I own but it is a solid knife that can handle any reasonable task. It locks up nice and tight, and as a big time knife lover with many many knives of various qualities this is one that is worth a buy and worth carrying, it's not my #1 but it changed the way I looked at SOG as a whole as before I bought this I always just kind of looked at SOG as a BS cheap knife company, but their more quality knives I now completely respect. It's worth a carry, and worth your time.
