Blade showing corrosion after a couple weeks

Was digging it, but after a couple weeks now the blade has ugly corrosion on the logo side. It sits on my coffee table. I might have opened a couple boxes with it. Wiped it off every time. No reason it should look like this.

This is a fantastic knife! This terminus is fidget candy. Super light weight but very strong. Perfect ergos and jimping that actually works which I love. The action isn’t the best out of the box but after a day it’s stellar!!SOG is killing it lately. The kiku xr and seal xr are absolutely amazing as well. Keep it up SOG

The gold on the knife started to fade after a couple of uses. The quality of the knife is fantastic. Very light weight and good steel. Small enough to conceal no matter what you’re wearing. If you’re buying it for the gold, know it will fade quickly.

Bought this knife for its lightweight, cool aesthetic, and CPM S35VN blade steel at a seemingly reasonable price. Within a week of carrying, and barely using it, the coating began to show spots that look like rust. After scrubbing them with a sponge and vinegar, it doesn't seem that they are rust, just dark spots on the blade coating. Now, after a couple of months, the spots are even worse and continue to grow. I tried to submit a warranty claim, but I don't have the original receipt, so I essentially wasted $140 on a knife that can't hold an edge despite its "high quality" steel, and that continues to deteriorate on its own with little to no use. The lock also makes a plastic rattle noise when you move the knife in certain ways.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I saw this little guy with copper scales I immediately decided to purchase it to go along with my 3 other SOG folders.
Love the look and feel of the knife. Blade perfectly centered without any wobble. Action good all three ways; flipper, thumb studs, & with xr lock. Lock up is rock solid and the cryo CPM s35vn blade is razor sharp out of the box.
The reason only four stars is because the pivot screw is so tight that I can’t even move it ( believe me when I say i tried multiple times without any success) therefore making it unable to adjust. This is unacceptable for a knife at this price point!

The carbon fiber liners creates some friction and doesn’t swivel open as smooth as the metallic models.

They changed the color from a yellow gold which was awesome to a more dull rose gold which is very ugly. Very disappointed since the acquisition.
