The action directly out of the packaging was was right on target with all SOG XR products. Open and close is very smooth and easily worked with one hand flip. Also, as always the blade was very sharp out of the box.

I purchased a matching pair of these for me and my son. At first he thought it was a and flimsy but after a few months of use it is his go to daily knife. The deep carry clip makes it disappear in your pocket and the action is smooth as butter. If you are looking for a lightweight daily pocket carry then this is a great choice.

Read some mixed reviews on this, but wanted to see for myself. Maybe I got lucky, but mine came perfectly centered, no blade play and razor sharp. A bit stiff out of the box, but already starting to loosen up. And it looks really cool :)
