Works perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandmother is hard of hearing, so she’s always in need of new batteries for her hearing aids. Some batteries can be pretty pricey and she goes through them fast. When I gave her the Rayovac Duracell power budget friendly hearing aid batteries in her usual 312 size, she was very excited to get them.
The instructions on how to remove the batteries was pretty confusing, and I’m not entirely sure we did it correctly but we got the batteries out eventually. Once they were placed into her hearing aids and turned on, she was able to hear perfectly with them.
These are great hearing aid batteries that are affordably priced and from a reputable brand. If you don’t mind a little confusion about getting them out, then I would absolutely recommend picking these up for your hearing aids.

HORRIBLE PACKAGING says Senior in perfect health

I am a senior taking no medications in perfect health - though I almost stabbed myself trying to open this new packaging. It's impossible. Shame on the packaging design person.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have changed the packaging format to be in compliance with Reese’s Law, which states that all button, coin and hearing aid batteries – and devices powered by those batteries – must be contained in child-resistant packaging that features specific warning copy.
The products have been subject to rigorous independent tests, confirming that the new packaging is 100% child resistant*, and zero batteries were accessed by children during CRP testing.* The new plastic dial includes additional staking points for extra security. By that nature it does mean that there will be a difference for users in how to access batteries in the pack, compared to previous packaging. 312 hearing aid batteries - packaging

I'm a veteran, get my batteries front the VA. Recently received rayovac 312 batteries from them. Your child proof packaging is also adult proof. I tried the scissors and found that the plastic is so hard that I couldn't cut as shown on packaging. You can be sure of one thing. If I had to pay for my batteries I would not buy rayovac due to the packaging. I had to destroy the package to get the batteries out. Now that creates a new problem of how to keep up with the batteries until needed for use. Your packaging designer totally failed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Batteries, Terrible Packaging

The batteries are good. I like them. The new child-resistant packing is extremely difficult for me to open. I have arthritic hands and fingers. Even high quality scissors like Fiskars and Titan do not cut it easily. It takes many cuts to free the batteries. And the cut edges are sharp and have cut my fingers. Also, the old packaging was easier to store and carry spare batteries, and much easier to get a fresh battery when it was needed. The new packaging requires I carry scissors (but not on a plane). Please bring back the old packaging, or make the new packaging easier to open.
