Hard packing to open
on October 27, 2026
Posted by: EwaB
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packing it very secure from children but makes it hard for elders to open. You need to have scissors accessible at all time to access the batteries. The battery doesn't seem to last too long. Also the instructions to leave battery out after removing tab should be made bigger and more visible as I missed it a few times

Retired audiologist finds packaging unacceptable
on October 23, 2026

In its effort to protect children, Rayovac has gone overboard on the packaging. None of my former patients would have been able to open these packages in a minute. I am a hearing aid user myself and find the same problem and I do have great dexterity. People who are hearing impaired and only have use of one arm would be not be able to open these at all, case in point my husband had only use of one arm for 6 weeks following his surgery. Rayovac needs to come up with a way that satisfies Reese's law without discriminating against seniors and disabled patients (see the ADA references). You can do better Rayovac.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for submitting your review. We are glad to hear your feedback and we appreciate your time sharing this with us. The optimized packaging design can be opened via a simple 2-step opening method aiming to make the batteries accessible for seniors. In designing the packaging, we’ve been careful to ensure that hearing aid users can access our batteries quickly and easily. That’s why the packaging also features clear on-pack instructions supported by visual icons explaining the opening process.
• Make sure you are sitting down with your battery pack and a pair of scissors, ideally over a table.
• Carefully make two small cuts at the highlighted scissors slots at the bottom edge of the pack.
• Once both cuts are made, bend the top dial up to release the battery. Then close the flap, rotate the dial, and repeat the steps as needed.
• Remove the tab and allow it to breathe for one minute.
• Place your battery inside your hearing aid.
• Be sure to store any loose batteries safely and out of reach of children

Best batteries for who uses hearing aids
on October 23, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I accept this campaign I didn’t know those were for hearing aid batteries (I just saw the picture and I thought was watch batteries).
Since I don’t use hearing aids, I’ll donate those batteries to my aunt who uses. She said those are the best batteries she has and the ones who last longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These batteries are really good and seem to have an extremely long battery life. They also have a long shelf life you need to buy and put up before use.

Excellent batteries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These hearing aids worked really, really good. They seem to last really long, and they were very easy to get out of packaging. The scissor cut lines make it a lot easier to open with the new child proof packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited that I could get these to try for my mother’s hearing aids. She was happy to get these for free.
My husband also used them for some of the tools he has in his shop.

Pack of Six Hearing Aid Batteries
on October 19, 2026
Posted by: IndiraS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Rayovac size 312 hearing aid batteries in a pack of six. The packaging clearly shows the battery size and quantity. I haven’t tested them yet , so I can’t comment on their performance or battery life
