Child safe, also senior safe!

I recently bought a package of 24, size 312 batteries. Batteries are okay, but the "child safe" packaging is a nightmare. The plastic is too hard to cut with scissors. I had to resort to needle nose pliers to open the package. Once finally in, the seals on the batteries have been made smaller which is more difficult for senior, arthritic hands. Very frustrating and discouraging!

I receive my batteries through the VA. so i have no choice but to use what I am given. This new package is NUTS. Please redesign it so we can actually use the batteries.

"easy for seniors to open"???
Is this some kind of joke.?
I used to open your "old school" batteries with no problem.
Now its such a challenge I'll try another brand

I’m a 75 year old navy veteran and have been using your hearing aid 312 batteries for 15 years. Your new child proof packaging is extremely difficult to open and I’ve found two dead batteries in each of my last two packages. What’s wrong with RayOVac? Please fix this problem!

I bought the child proof packaging and took fifteen minutes to extract one battery out of the package. They are not senior friendly.

Your copy claims these packages are easy for seniors to use. Not for people with ordinary scissors and arthritis. Plus, batteries sometimes go dead when you are away from home. I carry batteries with me for that eventuality, but don’t carry a pair of garden shears or hedgeclippers to open this terrible package. I am so sorry that I bought a multiple-card package. I won’t make the mistake of buying Rayovac again, and certainly will warn my friends on social media.

Child resistant packages for 312 hearing aids

I hate the new packaging. I am 70 yrs old and hate haviing to cut the packaging when I need a battery especially when traveling. The previous packaging with circular rotating dispenser was so much more convenient PLUS it provided a means to put the used batteries in the pack for recycling. Poor design. Now I have to carry scissors ? As usual, he users are not consulted when changing a design.

In case Rayovac doesn't know it, many people who use hearing aides also have arthritis. This new packaging is extremely difficult to get into.
