Who in the world designed the new packages of 312 batteries? "child resistant", also senior resistant, CNA resistant, LPN resistant, and RN resistant. Had to take the package to maintenance department and have it cut open with a rotary tool. I consider this REDICULOUS!! You had a good design where you rotate the batteries around to an opening, and simply drop the battery out. Who ever thought this new design was a good idea needs to have their employment with Rayovac reevaluated.

Bought the 312 hearing aid batteries with “child resistant packaging”. Worst packaging ever for senior users. Scissors don’t begin to cut it. Had to find heavy duty shears to open it. Saying that most users can open it in less than a minute is a joke. I can open every other hearing aid battery package in a couple of seconds with no tools. I’m done with Rayovac batteries.

Absolutely Terrible Packaging

Review is for Hearing Aid 312 and Child Resistant Packaging. While I have no issue with the batteries the Child Resistant Packaging for Senior is Absolutely Terrible. It takes a lot of effort and Great Scissors to cut the area for the batteries then a screwdriver to separate the packaging for the batteries as I have no fingernails. I will never buy this kind of packaging again. If I could I would rate this packaging a Minus 10.

Longest lasting batteries, no longer easy to open.

My wife and I have been using RayOVac 312 batteries for about 10 years, because they last longer than any others. But now they are almost impossible to open with the child proof packaging. Our children are in their 50s so child proofing is not very important to us. Our next hearing aids will be rechargeable.

Purchased a box of 60 batteries. I cannot open them. Have arthritis in my "scissor" hand, and scissors could not cut through the plastic. I will probably end up in the ER with severe cuts before this is over. Complete fail.

I bought online a dozen packages of the "child resistant " style and they are very hard to access because a typical scissors can't cut the plastic. Terrible design. So aggravated me that I won't buy any Rayovac brand any more.

This is the worst packageing I have ever come across. Sometimes my hands don’t work. Really who the heck invented this. You have no instructions on them. I still don’t how to get in it.
