easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The can opener is very tall and accommodates larger/taller cans easily. I have opened an
8oz and 15.5oz can with ease. The opener is able to support the weight of the can easily on it's own without me having to hold either the can or machine. Larger 28oz can still opened easily, but I did have to hold it otherwise the weight of the can tipped the opener forward. Still, this was way faster than my hand held opener. I am very happy with the function and size of this opener.

Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach can opener is very quiet when using. It makes some noise but a lot quieter than other can openers that I haven experienced. The magnet folds in and the can opener itself is slim. Also has a knife sharpener built in to the back. I love using it to open smaller/average size cans. However, learned tonight while making dinner that it has a big flaw that I’m not sure I’ll be able to look past. A larger can, while it fits fine to under the can opener, I have to hold the top of the can opener otherwise the weight of the can pulls the can opener with it. It doesn’t have the weight distribution it needs to be able to hold larger cans. Therefore I can’t just start the opener and let it open larger cans automatically while wanting to walk away for a second. I have to be right there holding the top so it doesn’t fall. Not ideal.

Awesome hands free features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing electric can opener . It’s extra tall so that you can open any size can which is a very helpful feature . You can also sharpen your knives on the back using the knife sharpening feature . My favorite feature is that you put the cab under the magnet cutting leaver , push down and let it do its thing . Once it’s done cutting the lid , it shuts itself off ! Super sleek black design and easy to assemble. Storage area in the back for the cord .

Just what we needed!

We use to use hand held can openers and were going through them like crazy because they wouldnt last. This electric can opener is small and hardly takes up an counter space. The stainless steel color matches all our appliances so it blends in well with the kitchen. I have a household of six people that i enjoy cooking for and having the proper tools makes it easier and stress free. This can opener can open a standard size can in about three seconds. I have also used this can opener with larger cans and it opened the can with no problem. This can opener has a sharp blade to pierce into the can while holding the can tightly in place. I have been using the can opener everyday and i couldnt be more pleassed with its performance.

It’s a small enough size to fit in a small space. Overall, this can opener works really good and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice new can opener.
