Excellent air filter

I am a Certified Industrial Hygienist (retired) well acquainted with indoor air quality issues. I prefer this high quality filter for my HVAC system. My wife is a quilter and generates a lot of fabric dust, plus we live in a urban environment.

I have purchased the FILTRETE1500 filters for years and replace the ones that look dirty after three months. For the ones (upstairs) that aren't as dirty, we go 4-6 months. The filters have made the air manageable for my children that had allergies growing up. I would recommend these filters to anyone that is looking to improve their home's air quality. One other benefit..... the heat/A/C contractor that works on our home's system said that these filters are extending the life of the system by eliminating dust/dirt from entering the ductwork and A/C unit housing.

Best for our needs

With an older furnace and a family with allergies, the last thing I need is to have issues with air quality. The 1500 filter by Filtrete is the only one I'll use. I've tried others, including the big box store brands, and Filtrete is the only filter that seemed to do the best job for us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used Filtrete for years and have never had an issue. Growing up, Filtrete was all my dad would use. This is a great filter and is the best brand you can get!

It has been very good at keeping my house ventilation ducts clean and aided to keep my pollen allergies from flaring up during the spring especially. All I have to do is to just change the filter periodically to keep it fairly clean so it can do its magic.
