I've used the Filtrete 1500 for over 15 yrs. My wife's allergies are better and the house air is much nicer. Just can't see changing to anything else.

Not sized correctly

I replaced four filters today with Filtrete 1500 filters (20x30x1; 14x30x1; and two 14x24x1). Not one of them fit correctly, each being approximately 1/2 inch too wide and 1/2 inch too long. Normally these filters slip right in, but these had to be bent to fit in. Considering the price, I expected them to be form fit and function.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Filtrete Filters are great at getting DIRTY!

For the past 15 years I have gone out of my way to make sure the air I breathed was clean so I have used Filtrete 1500 or above Air Filters and changed them every month. Your suppose to change them every 3 months but in Phoenix Arizona one month's dirt is enough for me. I have experimented with a few different brands of air filters but those always seemed to not get black after a months use like the Filtrete do or for a couple of them even get a little grey. Filtrete Air Filters are great at getting dirty and the dirtier the filter the cleaner the air.

Very clean air!

I love these filters. I recently had my furnace serviced and the guy said that my furnace was really clean, and that that would extend the life of my furnace and that I'd have cleaner air. He asked what I was doing and I told him that I use Filtrete 1500 and I change it every 2 months like clockwork.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Effective and high quality

Because our 2 youngest children suffer with seasonal allergies, we have been using 3M Ultra Allergy 1500's for more that 10 years. Always the excellent 3M sturdy quality construction and seems to help with our family allergy issues.

Excellent Furnace Filter

I have been using the 1500 filter for several years; and, when switching to other filter brands to save a few bucks, I go back to this filter. It is superior to most filters! In order to keep the pressure drop down I check the filter monthly and change it between 2 to 3 months.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quality Filter helps keep house clean!

The 1500 Ultra level filter is worth the few extra dollars! We have 3 pets (that shed!) and hardwood floors, so it is very evident if our filter is not keeping the air clean enough. In Texas, we run our AC most of the year, so we love the fresh, clean performance of this filter.
