[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these for years. I usually use the 1500. It catches a ton-o-dust and the air seems to smell better after a filter change — maybe that's my imagination or maybe not.
I have lung issues, and for now the 1500 is a good balance between capturing small particles and not putting the maximum burden on my aging blower motor. I may go with higher MPR/MERV values when I get a new HVAC system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never paid $15 for a filter ever. This filter is worth the money spent. It does exactly what it describes it does. I do see/feel the difference from your standard Filtre filter to the 1500. Will from now on continue to purchase the Filtre 1500.

causes respiratory problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 1900 mpr filters and installed them. After a half hour of operation, I found breathing difficult and noticed a strange odor. Are these filters treated with some chemical? Not happy, considering the price of the filter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best AC filters available

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Filtrete for many years and they work very well, trapping dust and allergens. The filter really works and ever since I started using these filters the dust on the furniture has decreased significantly. Kind of expensive for the 1500 MPR or higher rating but I would not use any other filter in my home so I choose to pay the price for better air quality.

Filtrete 1500 Doesn't Disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Filtrete Healthy Living Air Filters for several years. I started first by using the 1000 which did an OK job but in talking with my HVAC technician he recommended I pay a little extra and move up to a 1500. And I am glad I did. There was always noticeable dust in my house with the 1000 after 2 months of use. With the 1500 at 3 months there is little to no dust and this performance has been consistent over 2 years. It may cost more but I wait for the sales, stock up for the year, and submit my rebate and the per filter cost is about the same as the 1000.
I would recommend this to a friend!
