I have been using a ThermaCell unit now for 3 years, and I will not go outside without wearing one. By wearing a ThermaCell unit, I now enjoy fishing and hunting, especially in the swamps of South Carolina. I don't have to worry about spraying or wiping myself down with other mosquito repellant products.

Very disappointed

Super disappointed in this product... After seeing all the great reviews and hearing from friends that these work amazing I decided to buy one but I was highly disappointed when I went out into the bushes with it had zero effect on the bugs.. I also tried it in my yard since mosquitos are really bad where I am thinking maybe it didn't work for the bugs in the bushes, and still got eaten alive by the mosquitos. I made sure the unit was running multiple times as I thought maybe it just wasn't on, but it was. Very disappointed in the product, might as well buy bug spray since it's cheaper and has more effect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It really works!

I tried one out this spring while working in the woods in Maine. As soon as I stepped out of the protection zone, the mosquitos were on me. When I was closer, they were gone. The one I used was on loan from a friend. I will definitely buy one! Maybe I'll buy more than one.

Makes gardening in N.Ontario a real pleasure now

I live in a rural area in Northern Ontario and started a large garden this year. Well, between the deep woods, black earth, manure and what not, the blackflies were simply outrageous, making it an unpleasant trip to the garden even with my mesh jacket/hood and deeting myself up on the legs (I can’t stand deet but want to wear shorts while gardening). I purchased the MR300 and WOW, unbelievable difference, it really works – and works on blackflies!, it works so well I can honestly say, my gardening has been saved by technology. Awesome product, I don’t give out 5 stars at the drop of a hat but the MR300 gets that, it works that well and is so easy to use.

Bugs dissapeared

Just bought it because the bugs were bad on the front porch. Started it up and after a few minutes noticed that the gnat and mosquitos were gone. First thing I have found to work on them pest
