Essential item for North Carolina Hunt !

Two friends and I went to North Carolina shortly after the Hurricane came that State.
If I did not have a Thermacell the hunt would have been misery.
When I would come down from the hunting stand, I would hold it out in front of me, like a" cross to vampires" to keep the mosquitos away. As soon as it was off, they swarmed. Thermacells really work !

Mosquitoes are murder in warm weather and being so wet it has been unbearable and I'm allergic. My Thermacell keeps the vultures away for hours while hunting. I use earth scent.

As a Boy Scout family in Florida, we constantly use these. So much better than having to cover ourselves in bug spray! There are occasions that we still have to add repellent, but it’s not often. LOVE these products and highly recommend for anyone outside regularly during mosquito times.

Did not perform as advertised

Started working in my garage just before dusk with the garage door open. Soon after darkness, mosquitoes began to appear. Started the MR300 and did not achieve the repellant feature of the unit. Mosquitoes still landed on bare arms and ankles and remained until I brushed them off to which they returned without hesitation in spite of the MR300
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
