My doctor recommended the thermacel insect repellent to me. I used it while deer hunting in an area with a river, a large creek and many drainage ditches. With all that water it is plagued with mosquitoes. Not a a one landed on me while I used the thermacell.

Decent but not as nice as my 1st generation. The clip would be a nice addition if it actually stayed attached to the thermacell device. Mine falls off all the time. The new case is also kind of cheaply made compared to the old heavier duty one and now only has one pocket instead of two.

Pads became worse

I agree with other reviewers that te pads have changed. They turn white after an hour. Not after 4 hours. Please Therrmacell react to this. What has happened? Isn't it a problem that they turn white so soon. Will they still work? Have they changed? What is going on? The refills already cost a fortune and now they work just 1 hour. It is the only device that works! But normally people cannot afford it anymore like this.
