Notmally a great product. Guess i got a defected one bc it doesnt stay on. Older models work fine. I have about a half dozen older models. Thought id try the newer one but........

Product literature is misleading. The slightest breeze blows away the gas from this complicated, expensive device offering no effective protection from mosquitoes in any but dead air conditions.

Awesome for backyard patios

Been wanting to buy one and finally did and we used it today to shuck a sack of oysters in Louisiana and did not have one bite and without this product they would have picked me up and flew away with me. If you live in the South this is a must, can't wait to bring it on my boat while fishing!!

I’ve been a staunch Thermacell supporter and customer for years. My original portable unit finally quit working. I LOVED MY THERMACELL! It worked and performed perfectly. Bugs didn’t want anything to do with me. I don’t know why it died because there’s not much to them. It would light up then die immediately. So I bought 3 new ones. The new design sucks! PERIOD! I bought a new 2 years ago and it never worked from the start. I had it on my yearly 10 day deer hunting trip. I got so mad at it I threw it against a tree! I HATE the new design. The detachable clip is the dumbest design I’ve seen. I’m very disappointed. I hope it actually stays running. At least the bugs won’t bother me even if the new design is junk.

Unit works great. Mosquitoes love me and this is a saving grace. I would give it five stars but the cover is terrible. Primary flap in the front can’t be used with the unit on. it either covers the front vent or the back vent and has no way of staying out of the way.

The mr300 was a replacement for an older model that took upwards of 30 clicks to light if it even lit. I use it for hunting and the old model was just to noisy. The mr300 works great one click and its working. 100% satisfied with it. I have to give credit to the sales staff because they did give me a discount on the purchase. I really wanted the older model fixed and was told it would cost more to fix then to replace the unit.

Poor quality

I am in the Adirondacks 6 months of the year. My family loves your product. But, the last 3 that I purchased last Christmas as gifts, I was told two of them quit working after a short time. I have older ones that still work after years and the body is much better quality. I would love to buy more, but I am sceptical.
