I would not recommend this product i like my coffee hot not warm the burner is not hot enough and coffee is barely warm.

The carafe spills coffee everywhere when pouring! Also, the basket leaks coffee when the carafe is removed, but at least that mess is contained.

Great but pot broke after a week

I bought this coffeemaker after my old coffee maker broke and it works fantastic. Its very quiet and makes great coffee. Unfortunately; however, after owning it for less than a week, I was cleaning the pot regularly, nothing too intense and the handle slid around and the pot was cracked. Fortunately, I still had the pot from the old coffee maker and they're roughly the same size. 5 stars for working well, 2 stars for breaking. I'll give it 4 stars.

Does not work, call center hours wrong

Bought this today, came home and unpacked it. Read the booklet to see if anything unusual appears in the instructions. Washed the carafe out, poured water into the reservoir and put in a filter, attempting to run a cycle before I actually brew a pot of coffee. Plug it in, turned it on, and NOTHING. No water pumping, the warming plate stays cold, and no help available because the offices are closed at this time. It was 745pm, est., and the booklet says call until 11pm cst M-F. Website says 8pm est. Either way, no one working to help a customer.
So far, I am really disappointed...

WE had bought 3 coffee makers 3 years ago and one gave out and so we opened one of the other 2 and it didn't work so we called Black and Decker and they replaced the new one for free. that was very nice of them. We just had to pay the shipping and handling. We just want everyone to know that this is a great coffee maker that lasted a long time. It is so nice to wake up and the coffee is ready. thank you so much for all your help in this matter. other companies may have told us the warranty was expired but they helped us out. We had to cut off the cord and send it in but that was not a problem either.We really appreciate what this company did for us. S and G Martinez ,Texas.

This product is dangerous

I received this product as a gift last year. We made a pot of coffee last night and the handle came off as the glue holding the handle came undone. We were fortunate that nobody got scalded. On top of that, the lid has been warping and difficult to close the cover. I will be writing to your senior management about this defect and also to the Consumer Ministry. If we had been burned, you would have been facing a law suit.

lukewarm coffee

If you like your coffee lukewarm then this is the coffee pot for you. We have had this pot for 10 months and and today it just died on me. The clock and on off button still work, but the coffee does not make and the hot plate doesn't heat. Tried different outlets and it still did not work. Guess I should have registered it for the warranty.

Don't buy it!

This coffee maker didn't even last a year. Everytime I make coffee, the coffee grinds spill into the coffee and all over, it doesnt filter well.
Don't waste your money unless you want to replace it in a few months.
