Drips and leaks over the counter

Floods counter top with coffee as the lid of the carafe is poorly designed. I am continuing to use it with out the lid of the carafe and this has stopped the leaking and dripping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THE WATER SHOWERHEAD WARPED SO BADLY THAT THE BREW

No one in the family can pour water into the machine or pour coffee out of the pot without it spilling all over. Never had this problem with any other machine, very frustrating. We are going to buy another brand which is a shame because this one is practically brand new.

About the carafe

Very pleased with the design and quality of the coffee but very displeased with the carafe. Why can't ANY company make a carafe that doesn't dribble coffee all over the counter. This one seems to be worse than others. If you pour it slow the coffee runs down the side of the carafe, if you pour it faster it runs over the side of the lip.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this coffee maker broke within one month of purchase and it's only used 2-3 times a week. The water no longer moves through the filter. This is a very cheap coffee maker and I would not recommend anyone purchase it. Pay a little more and get something that lasts.

I purchased this coffee maker...and loved it. Until I had a problem with the warming plate. I previously wrote a review summary about the product - that was not so favorable. However, since that posting, I have had great success/response from Black and Decker. They were very helpful regarding my concerns. Would I buy another coffee maker from B&D??? I sure would. Great price, looks nice on the counter, and makes tasty coffee. Thank you B&D for helping me with my concern.

Makes Good Coffee

Our previous coffee maker was over 15 years old and its life ended when the power cord was accidentally dropped on a hot stove element. We have replaced it with this cofee maker. After doing the initial run throughs, we made coffee with 3 scoops from our coffee holder. It made coffee the same as our old one. Why improve on a good thing.
