Worth the buy!

I purchased this particular model due to the automatic turn off feature. It has so many other great advantages as well. Definitely worth the price!

Defective Clock defeats programmable feature

The main reason I bought this was to be able to wake up to a nice, hot, freshly brewed cup of coffee. But on the first use I smelled coffee brewing 1/1/2 hours before I set it. I realized the clock in the unit runs fast so the auto feature kicked on bases on the incorrect time.... not only irritating but not safe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cool Features... Busted in a Matter of Weeks

I got this over the standard Coffee Maker because of its feature which stops the brewing process so you can pour your cup, and resume afterwards. All fine and dandy until the steaming water starting pouring out of the top and nothing actually fell into the pouring pot. Figured out that the issue is literally the feature I bought it for. The lever which allows you to start/stop the brewing no longer held the seal open for the water to call into the canteen (or whatever its called that catches the coffee). If you buy.... set up the warranty DAY 1
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
