Air Filter for home air conditioners

I have used these air filters in our home and I am completely sold on their remarkable results. I really am glad that they can take out the germs in the air and make the air in our home purer. I can almost feel and smell the difference when using these filters. Also, it is wonderful not to have to change the filter every month. I appreciate the quality and long lasting ability to keep working and in the long run, they are more economical than others. They are always available at the retair store where we shop.

My air is cleaner for me and my dog now

I used to use those half-inch wide throw-away $2 fiberglass filters on my old furnace. But when I invested in a high efficiency furnace, I decided to go with better air quality in the house, too. Boy did I get it.
My Filtrete 4-inch wide furnace filter traps a lot of stuff I don't want in the furnace, no less the air I breathe. I have a dog, and though I keep her groomed, there is still dog hair left over; the filter is doing a great job filtering out dog hair that would otherwise enter the furnace air supply. It's a comfort knowing my home is a little cleaner and the air is a lot more breathable with a high quality Filtrete filter.

Best Filter on the Market!!!

I HAVE searched and cannot find a better filter than Filtrete. Not only does it make a noticeable difference in the air quality of our home, it has literally saved our HVAC unit. As do most new construction homes, ours came with the standard 'builder grade' system. Coincidentally, we have had a lot of storms and power surges this past summer. When our system (along with seven others in our neighborhood) burnt out last month, we were miraculously able to replace only the compressor, as opposed to the whole system. Since it came at a bad time for us financially, we had to opt for replacing the compressor only. Our HVAC technician told us that had we not been using good filters and replacing them regularly, that would not have been an option. Even though we will eventually have to replace the whole unit, we now have some wiggle room and time to save up. Meanwhile, our 'builder grade' unit and Filtrete filters are functioning beautifully. Thank you, 3M!!! You saved our lives (quite possibly literally--from this Southern heat and humidity)and allowed us some time to research and save for a new HVAC unit down the road a bit.

Best Heating/Cooling Filters=3-M FILTRETE Filters

I have been using Filtrete Filters since mid-'80s. I have upgraded with each introduction of an improved version and found they actually DO last 3 months. These filters keep out dust, dander and pollen. At present, I have 2 dogs & 1 cat in the house. My whole house smells fresh for 3 glorious months. They are not as cheap as Brand X, but very worth every penny; considering all they accomplish.

Excellent Performance

I've used various filters and found this model to be very effective. Amazed at what it actually catches from the normal air. Noticeably helps during the allergy seasons (severe hayfever).

I change my filter that every two months. Every time I change my filter with this product I see the nastiness it keeps my family from breathing in. I wouldn't trust any other brand!

bEEN BUYING THIS PRODUCT FOR YEARS NOW AND I'M NEVER DISAPPOINTED. THE AIR IN THE HOUSE ALWAYS SMELLS CLEAN. I HAVE ALLERGIES BUT THEY DON'T PERSIST WHILE I'M IN MY HOUSE. THEY ARE NOT CHEAP BUT WELL WORTH IT
