clean air for asthma sufferers

I use these in place of regular HVAC filters. The 4" depth adds surface are which reduces air flow resistance. My home systems for people with breathing problems includes multiple 20 x 20 x 4 inch filters. My 2400 sq ft home has 5 filters. The efficiency of the HVAC system is not degraded yet the air is best for sufferers of breathing problems such as asthma, RADS, or allergies.

I love the idea of cleaner air, but my furnace company told me I needed to change the setting on my furnace when I use a higher quality filter such as this one. This was unexpected news.

Dust Buster!

I've been using this type filter almost 3 months, and I've got to tell you that it's a great improvement over reusable filters that I was using. You can see all of the particles it collected...yes, it is DIRTY! I couldn't really see the dirt on the washable ones. I've noticed that there is less dust collecting in the house' big plus! Haven't noticed reduction of airflow nor higher energy bills. I'll continue using this filter...a little expensive to me- but we'll worth it!

Best Furnace Filters!

We have purchased a new home in Washougal, Washington. The home inspection revealed very dirty filters in each of two furnaces. We have specified Filtrete furnace filters to replace the very dirty generic filters as part of the purchase agreement because we have used them exclusively in our current home for about seven years. They seem to help with our allergies! 3M makes great products including your Blue masking tape and air filtration face masks which we have used when mowing the lawn!

I usually have used these in the past and recently purchased a different brand. I prefer these. They are better constructed and appear to better clear the air.

Pet Hair no longer a problem!

According to our service technician, pet hair can wreck havoc on your HVAC system. The Healthy Living Air Filter addresses the issue so that it is no longer a problem. Works great!
