How hard can Rayovac make a package to open

Rayovac 312 12pack- 2 packs of 6-absolutely horrible to open, you literally need tin snips to open the package. Child resistant packaging- should read Senior Resistant.

Child Proof / Adult Proof

The child proof packaging is horrible! It requires scissors which I DO NOT carry around with me. I have to cut them open at home which leaves the batteries loose & MORE of a hazard for children. This was a STUPID & MORE dangerous idea.

who was the rocket scientist that developed the "childproof" packaging ? almost sliced my fingers off trying to open. you need aviation snips to cut through the plastic, and then beg the batteries to fall out.

This type isn’t available anymore and we should be given a choice of packing.
Two very strong adult sons cannot open the new style that replaced this dispenser.

My 73 yr old step dad hasnt had any problems with these batteries works better than duracell and energizer but now with the new packaging we are going to have to switch he has health issues and opening the new packaging is too much for him and me to do. we hope you switch back to old packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I understand the need for child proof packaging; however most hearing aid batteries are used by seniors. You need to use scissors to cut open the package. So, if you are out and you have to change batteries, you have to find scissors or a knife to get batteries.
