The new packaging is impossible to open. You need scissors to cut it open. I always keep an extra package in my purse in case batteries go dead while I'm away from home. Do I know have to keep a pair of scissors in my purse. Also they started making the tabs shorter. Very hard to handle and replace. These are terrible. The old packaging made so much more sense.
Contrary to what the ads say, these child proof cases are VERY difficult to open. I’m a fit 80 year old and began using Rayovac batteries on the recommendation of my audiologist. I do like the batteries. They last longer than other batteries but I’ve hurt myself several times trying to get in the packaging. I had to resort to scissors that cut steel to get them open. I get the need to child proof them but if consumers can’t access the product, what good are they. I’m sorry to leave Rayovac, but I feel I have no other choice. Buyer beware.
Bought new pack of 312 hearing aid batteries. It is impossible to open. Child proof-yes, but also adult proof. Try again. I will seek out another vendor with easy to open package.
The battery packaging definitely requires scissors to open. Who carries scissors in purse or pocket strong enough to cut the plastic dispenser? Did you consider arthritic hands when designing these terribly difficult to open hard plastic dispensers? The batteries are safe from children, but having scissors nearby is not child safe. This packaging is the worst idea ever for seniors who experience hand pain and hand muscle weakness. Please, the product is OK but the packaging apparently wasn't tested on your main users - Seniors!!!
I don't consider myself stupid but, after trying to open my package of batteries, I'm beginning to wonder. My scissors will not cut thru the plastic. What am I doing wrong?
This is the worst packageing I have ever come across. Sometimes my hands don’t work. Really who the heck invented this. You have no instructions on them. I still don’t how to get in it.
I bought online a dozen packages of the "child resistant " style and they are very hard to access because a typical scissors can't cut the plastic. Terrible design. So aggravated me that I won't buy any Rayovac brand any more.
