Filtrete 1500 is great

Needs improvement

The new Filtrete has changed the location of the installation date box from the convenient side panel to the top of the filter. The filter obviously works the same but the homeowner must now remove the filter to determine if it's time to replace.
I would recommend this to a friend!

catches dirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can never tell if it is really catching all of the things it says it does. Obviously the air in my house is coming from more places than just through these filters. They are dirty when I replace them, so they are doing something. It's just expensive, 4 at a time, which is why I replace every 6 months instead of 3, at the recommendation of a repair man.

Good But only last 2 months

In doublewide moble home with 3 pets. Only last 2 months then need s replacement. Tried vacuuming but does not help extend the full 3 months . Cat dander back everyone sneezing.. getting costly.

Very Good Filters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replace my air filters every month & a half to 2 months. This particular model seems to keep the allergens down the best without restricting the air flow too much. When I dropped to the red filter, I noticed a lot more dust in the home. I have 2 big dogs (Labrador Retrievers) which do shed. We do not have the ability to put a filter in the attic by the unit so it must go in the return air vent. Ours happen to be on the wall near the floor. We have one for upstairs & one for downstairs and they are 2 different sizes. I'm a big supporter of this purple one. I just think they are very pricey considering how often I have to replace.
