Cleaned forest fire smoke well beyond safe levels

Outside, air quality was 300-1100 (off-the-scale and very hazardous) with smoke hanging in the air like dense fog. Inside, the indoor air quality monitor says the air is very clean (AQI 23). This is with running the furnace fan continuously and changing filters every 3-4 weeks. The only downside is the smart filter feature doesn't actually know when the filters are dirty, only how much air volume has gone through them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extreme Filtering

I have a two-bedroom, 1118 sqft townhome with a vaulted ceiling. The first couple of years I was surprised to see much more dust than I had been accustomed to in my large single-family home, so I switched to the Filtrete 2800 in January 2020. When I changed the filter at the end of March there was considerable dirt collected. Now being near the end of June, the maintenance supervisor came by to service the AC for the summer so I asked if he would put in the new filter for the next three months. He immediately commented on the quality of the filter and how much cleaner the environment was than in other units… before I noted that the second one was not nearly as dirty as the first filter. Great evidence of the progressive effect the filter is having on air quality.

Good choice for pet homes

This is probably best option for families with pets. In my case, changing filter monthly is the best option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I replaced a cheaper basic filter with the Filtrete Healthy Living Air Filter there's been noticeable improvement in our air quality. Less dust & my daughter hasn't had to use her asthma inhaler! I can see how effective this filter is when I check it. The cheaper brand didn't collect even half of what the Filtrete does. The automatic filter change time reminders make life easier, one less thing to keep track of. I assist my landlord in our apartment community and have told all of our residents about Filtrete products, their very informative website & auto reminder sign-up :o)
