More power than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been great. It’s got more torque than expected. I’ve mainly used it while building a fence and patio cover. I like the power to drive bolts in. I can’t wait to use it on car repair. The ease of switching between sockets without an adapter is great.

My new favorite tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new design is 10 times better then my old 18 volt...Also this thing is lighter and smaller then any other impact that i've used or owned. I was working on my vehicle the other day and it made my job so much easier to get into tighter spaces. It has a massive amount of torque and gave no issues when taking off my tire.

Love the Atomic series!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with the Atomic series 3/8” impact. It has almost replaced my full size 1/2” XR impact in terms of use. Very light, great if you use one several hours a day! It has the necessary torque to get me out of most situations I need it in.

A beast with 1 drawback

This tool is a Beast. I work in automotive and have barely needed to use my 1/2" DCF899HB since. I was so shocked that this is yanking odd lug nuts, caliper bracket bolts and almost everything else. Only draw back so far is it has ejected 2 batteries and they broke on the ground. I cant figure out how to file this under a possible warranty on the batteries. But like i said, otherwise very solid so far

Not intended for professional use

Performed well for the first year but after that it went down hill. It wouldn’t reliably change directions and most recently the trigger started to intermittently work. I rely very heavily on this tool to make a living and need to be able to depend on it. There are guys at work with five year old Milwaukees that still work like new. I’ve been forced to change to the competition so I can get the job done. Very disappointed in the longevity of this impact.

Impressive for the size.

After having this for a while it's done everything I've asked of it. Having this much torque it will fit a lot peoples needs so they won't have to buy a larger impact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this impact daily in an automotive environment. It has proven to be worth its weight in gold! This impact, paired with a 4Ah battery, is light enough to use all day with no fatigue. Even though it’s very light and compact, there are very few situations where I have to swap it out for a mid-torque or high-torque. This impact will do any wheel service and general fastener removal without breaking a sweat. This tool will be your go to!

Incredible power in a small package

Tried this tool out, I am a mechanic by trade. I use my DCF923B for all kinds of tasks, suspension work, exhaust work, engine work etc. the DeWalt DCF923B is an awesome tool with tons of torque to break free bolts on any vehicle I work on
