[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a small shop pro woodworker and I picked this up to add to my 20v max collection. The pad is super, and it works perfectly. I expect I will end up with one for every grit I run!

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a metal frame of a swing and had wood I wanted to repurpose. I wanted to sand the wood for us to sit on and thus this purchase. The sander did an outstanding job smoothing the wood and giving it a consistent finish. It is easy to use, great battery life and it looks good to boot. This is my second Dewalt power tool and my want/need list continues to grow.

Dewalt knows sanders!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dont know what it is about Dewalt sanders, but I always come back for their orbitals (course and cordless). As I start to replace my older tools I've give away from just color matching and focus on now what I feel preforms best. Dewalt sanders just feel ergonomically superior, in addition to have the power no matter what does your on to detail beautiful wood. I've tried others and many feel too built for one hand, or feel like the orbiting patterns are useless. I haven't bought any other brand in the last 15 years, and plan on keeping this habit. Thank you Dewalt for creating such a useful, well developed tool!

Great execution on a genius idea!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My company purchased this sander to keep in the building to use on various projects. I find that we're more likely to grab a sander to quickly touch something up with the cordless setup. This sander is way more balanced than I thought it would be with the battery being side-mounted, which is a pleasant surprise. Battery life is good. The orbital sander is one of the best tools to get the cordless treatment, in my opinion.

Reliable, powerful, gets the job done

It surprises me how much I have used it and how powerful it is. It makes finishing work a breeze, and is also tough enough to handle things like sanding down hardwood steps.
