Got the job DONE

This was a rushed purchase for me.
I found myself in the field with no power source or compressed air and a need to get a lot of surfaces abraded by end of day.
I own several Dewalt products so utilizing a tool with the same battery system seemed like the best idea.
Ergonomically, it fit well in my hand which resulted in less fatigue by the end of the day, and the battery life was surprisingly long. Fewer battery changes = fewer trips up and down the ladder.
I’m glad I made the purchase.

Working well for stripping boat hulls. Took some time to get the right sandpaper but once I got that right, it is an amazing combination.

Sufficient for quick use

Only had this cordless model a short time and honestly haven’t put it through too much of a workout. I can say it is obviously nice going from a corded to a cordless orbital. My main issue, as is echoed in several other reviews here, is the awkward placement of the battery and dust port. While this is a frustration it is not too terrible to work with. The dust collection while not ideal, is mostly sufficient for a quick use tool. It would be nice to see some adapters for vacuum hoses, but that could also increase the awkwardness. Good tool from a great brand. Meets expectations, probably bc unlike some others I’m not expecting it to be what it isn’t.

Why did I wait so long to upgrade to an orbital sander?! This sander is amazing, and saves so much time and energy. Works great on all types of wood.

Loved using this sander for building my wife a maple end table. Made the sanding process go quick and the ease and versatility of switching grit of sandpaper was seemless. Would definitely recommend adding this to your tool arsenal.

Fantastic little sander.

Purchased this a few months ago, used it to sand the finish off an old dresser to repaint. It worked fantastically when coupled with Diablo sanding disks.
Tool handles very well, and I was pleased with the results it gave me.
I would recommend this to a friend!
