I've been using this sander for a few days now. I was AMAZED that it seemed just as powerful as the corded version I bought years ago! Well built and very ergomical. I was worried that the battery would get in the way or just add too much weight. I was extremely satisfied with regard to both. I'd definitely buy it all over again, given the chance!

good but some quirks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love this sander. also have a corded sander for a couple of years. don't like the proprietary dust port. the rubber pad is also weak, went through 2 in a short time on the corded model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to re-finish the stairs in my house. I ripped up all the carpet, and pulled all the staples, nails and furring strips out. This made sanding an enjoyable and fantastic project. With the variable speed, i can make sure i am being precise with my sanding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this sander for about a year now and it definitely has not disappointed, the ability to be able to work somewhere that's either powerless or lacking an outlet near by is a game changer and one of the biggest Pro of this tool. Only Con so far is the weight when using a larger AH batter in my case a 4AH which seems to put a bit more strain on your wrist than a corded sander would.
I would recommend this to a friend!
