Dumps dust everywhere

I hate the sander. The weird angle of the dust bag and the battery makes it awkward to use or store.
What I really hate about it is that there is no baffle or anything to keep the dust in the bag. Every time you move this thing, it leaves a pile of dust. Since this is a cordless tool, you can bet it will be moved around from job to job, leaving a mess everywhere.
Makita and Bosch both put baffles on their dust bags to keep the dust in.
Also, the non-standard dust port means it doesn't fit onto vacuum hoses the way that Makita, Bosch and Metabo/Hitachi do.
It sands fine, but I wish I had bought a Makita.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little sander

I love this little sander. The functionality of a random orbital with the size of a palm. There is some heft to it, so you’re not going to forget it’s there, but it feels sturdy. The variable speed is a nice feature and adds some flexibility. I’m not a fan of the dust collection bag (I’ve never seen one of those work as intended), but I added the DWV9000 and my old (small) shop-vac for an inexpensive and remarkably effective dust collection system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Impressive and perfect for large or small projects

There's not much more to say about this product other than it has a great battery run time, is heavy duty enough for larger jobs, and delicate enough for small weekend DIY family projects. It's come in handy during my latest furniture and cabinetry builds. This is among one of the easiest cordless sanders I've used when it comes to control and finesse, and the variable-speed aids in that heavily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't bother

I bought the !st sand Nov 2021, quit working Dec 2021, sent it in for service end of Dec 2021 Feb 2 received a new sander same model etc. open box tried to use it same problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great sander

I love this sander, I have a couple that I have used for many projects over the past 2 years. I put different grits on each so I can quickly sand a project from coarse to fine. I have found that using the 3ah and 4ah 21700cell batteries are terrific for weight and balance, as the older 18650 4ah and 5ah batteries are just a bit bulky.

Powerful, cordless precision sanding

There's nothing like a cordless sander, and an orbital one at that. This sander is extremely effective and easy to use. It includes a wheel to adjust the speed of the rotating disc, which can come in handy for certain types of woods or desired sanding speed.
I can't stress enough how crucial it is for a sander to be cordless. You often need to get into odd positions, and have to move the unit back and forth in long strokes. A cord only makes these scenarios annoying and/or difficult to accomplish.
There's also a nice little removable dust bag, so there's virtually no dust to choke on coming from this sander. And it's very easy to click off and empty.
Overall, highly-recommended, very easy-to-use sander.

Best sander I have used yet

I love this sander and use it frequently on alot of jobs. The only setback I have is when putting a higher AH Battery it then makes the sander a little bulky and heavier to use. I really don't mind it much but thats just an obvious added setback if you can call it a setback really. I imagine for an elderly person or younger person that it might pose an issue with a bigger battery but other than that I love it and live the variable speed selection. I actually have 3 of these sanders and am satisfied with the purchase and price of each one. I would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a durable solid sander that performs well.
