Terrible Chemical Smell

I wanted to love this gadget so much but terrible plastic smell ruined it all. I read that the fume should go way after a few uses. I tried running the air fryer at least 10 times and the smell is still strong. Such an amazing idea and such a poor execution. Very disappointed - will be returning.

Dead Ninja

I bought our Dual Zone air Fryer 2 months ago and it is now dead. We were using it as per the instructions and guidelines but it appears it over heated and (probably) blew its internal thermal fuse. there doesn't appear to be any easy reset on the unit so it is now dead. It no longer even turns on. I'm very disappointed in this unit.

I finally bought an air fryer Jan 1st. After first opening I was impressed with the quality of the material. Tried my first batch of chickens wings but after just a few mins in I couldn’t handle the horrible smell I had to step outside real quick. I let the wings finish cooking just to see how they came out and sure enough they were nice and crispy but due to the smell I just couldn’t eat them. I decided to give it another try. Jan 3rd I put few pieces of thin skirt steak and well somehow the smell was still bad but this time I kid you not I got a really bad migraine all the sudden I had to stop cooking it and couldn’t handle my migraine and I never ever get migraines sure enough i took some pills and rested for few hours. I will be returning this item back.

Strong Chemical Smell

So disappointed , I really wanted this so bad , but the chemical smell is so bad, so strong, and even the food taste like this , now reading the reviews I know I’m not the only one with the same problem, I have had another 2 airfryers from another brand , and this never happens

PERFECT grilled steaks!

After much deliberation as to which air fryer or indoor grill to buy I came across this one. And I must say, best of both! I was hesitant to try to actually grill a steak in it but decided what the heck and tried it. Sirloin steak, about an inch thick, nice marbling. Rubbed it with olive oil, salt & pepper, and in it went. 7 minutes on Air Broil, turned it over, and another 7 minutes. Took it out, let it rest for about 10 minutes covered, and viola! PERFECT medium rare SEARED steak! I did put a tiny bit of water in the bottom to keep the smoke down and it worked like a charm. I've used it to grill chicken as well. I LOVE this thing! Also I read a lot of reviews about a chemical smell. I did run it empty at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes to 'cook' out any smells/chemical residues. I don't have ANY smell other than the cooking foods

Chemical snell

I was so excited to use this and can barely use it because of the chemical/machine smell when it cooks food! It’s given me a headache! And sometimes the food tastes like it too. Love the machine but can’t stand this smell!

Cut my dishes in half

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ninja Foodie 6-in-1 8qt. 2 Basket Air Fryer with DualZone Technology has cut my cooking workload, and dishes in half. On an ordinary night, I'd have chicken cutlets on the stove, and potatoes or veggies in the oven. Thanks to the Ninja Foodie 6-in-1 air fryer, I've been able to air fry chicken cutlets, while roasting herbed potatoes, air broil hot dogs, while air frying fries; within minutes, all from one machine. The smart finish feature is absolutely amazing, it allows two different dishes to finish cooking at the same time. So there's no need wait for one dish to finish, while the other gets cold, like with our previous air fryer. I can't say enough about this machine. Everything I've cooked in it, has been delicious. The quick start guide and recipes were really helpful, and there are endless cooking options. The best part, clean up is an absolute breeze thanks to nonstick coating on the baskets and crisper plates. Pick one up, it will quickly become your most used appliance.
