The airfryer is great! Is just has this weird smell that even sticks to the food. I thought it will go away after the first or second use, but it’s still there an completely changes the taste in the food. Unfortunately would not recommend because of this.

This is the best new kitchen appliance I’ve purchased in a very long time. Best of all worlds.
Many air fryers have multiple cook options. The dual basket cooking is why this is the one to get.
Just drop the food into each basket, enter cook method (one of the 6 options) and time for each basket. You can choose smart finish - which automatically syncs up the 2 sides so the foods finish cooking at the same time.
If you just want to make a lot of one thing (lots of chicken), the 2 baskets combine to 8 qt and there is a quick setting to copy the cooks settings to both baskets.
So you either set cook time and temp for each basket individually, or, just copy the settings so they are the same. Either way, foods finish at the same time

Nice Features but...

I really like the Smart Finish and the sync features but disappointed in the capacity. I have a 3.4 quart air fryer that holds considerably more than one of these 4 quart bins.

Love BUT THE SMELL IS TERRIBLE

I love this air fryer , but the smell omitted when cooking is very off putting. My husband gets physically sick from it and doesn’t want to eat after and sometimes to smell gets to where the food had a slight taste of the same smell. I can’t really explain it, it just smells bad like some sort of chemical. Is there any model without this smell or something that can be done about it?

Disappointed

This is the first Ninja product I've had an issue with. It takes twice as long as my Ninja Air fryer or Ninja Grill. Everything seems to come out soft and never seems to get to temperature.

I purchased the dual zone Ninja Foodie to help speed up my cooking times. Twice as fast, right? Well, when it arrive I was a bit overwhelmed by the size of it, compared to my former airfryer. This thing was luxurious, and had all these buttons, which my other airfryer had none of this. I must admit I was intimidated. So I let it sit on the counter for a week without touching it. Finally, I read al the manuals and recipe guides that came with it and decided to give it a go. OMG!!! It was soooo easy to use and the recipe suggestions are so simple to understand. Really, the unit self-cooks. All you do is push the combo of directions and it does the rest! My food came out perfectly. I’m excited to now cook in it even more so I can learn how to use all the other settings. Clean up was a breeze! I would definitely recommend this.

It's just alright

I've had the dual zone for 3 months, and have used it quite a bit. It works well as an air fryer and the reheat function is fairly intuitive. The bake function was a joke, I used a traditional recipe for scalloped potatoes and ended up with a soup. Frustrating.
I thought I upgraded from a G*****a 6 qt, with all the different features on this model. Placed it the same distance, from a wall, that I had with the G*****a, and the Ninja dual zone melted in two areas. Doesn't affect performance, just looks bad. Feels cheap, compared to the other, and this was $100 more. Also, yes, its 8 qt, though the two baskets are *very* limiting on space.
Finding recipes is difficult to impossible (I could experiment, I don't like wasting food, also, I thought an air fryer was supposed to save time), and it speaks volumes that there is only one recipe for the dual zone on this website, for the last several months.
Ultimately, pretty unhappy with this (now) ugly, expensive thing. I rated 3 stars because it does air fry and the reheat function is good.
