Babybliss Nano vented straightening iron

When i first received this I thought it must be really good quality because it was heavier than any other straightener I've ever tried... and I was right!! It heated up super fast and I was only on the 3rd setting. My hair was slightly damp but it didn't seem to make a difference as to how fast my hair was straightened. I absolutely love this tool and will definitely Recommend to others. I love the fact that it has vents to allow extra heat to escape. The metal part (can't remember the name) was bigger too!! Larger area...faster results love it ❤️ Thank you so much for sending this to me.

BaBylissPRO flat iron = must have gift!

I've never owned or heard of a BaByliss product before this. It arrived in a heavy duty box and the flat iron is also what I consider durable. It has a sturdy feeling and is heavier than some other brands I've used. The actual iron plates are wide and smooth.
The color is a pretty blue, similar to a country blue but with a sheen.
My hair is shoulder length and naturally wavy. I like that the flat iron has different temperature settings. I started with the lowest setting of 300 degrees. I had to go over each hair section 3 times on this setting so I bumped the iron up to the next setting of 340 degrees. I only had to go over each section twice then. I lowered it back to 300 degrees for my bangs and it worked great.
The style plates are smooth and didn't pull my hair.
It could be my imagination but when I use my own flat iron, my hair comes out flat and shiny but almost a little oily in texture and too flat. With the BaBylissPRO, my hair no longer had the waves which is what I wanted but my hair was still full which I liked a lot. My hair didn't have a greasy look and it wasn't paper thin like with my old flat iron.
An unexpected result was that my finger joints did not hurt when I used it. I guess this is because it has a wider plate and bigger iron body. I did not feel as though I had to hold it with such a tight grip despite the heavier iron.
This iron doesn't sound cheap and plastic either. I felt as if I had a professional product in hand.
It has a lock on it which keeps the plates closed together. This is a nice feature and works great in my packed suitcase.
Also because of the bigger flat iron plate, I was able to flatten bigger hair sections at a time, cutting my getting dressed time by at least 15 minutes.
I would recommend this iron to anyone and have already recommended it to my hairdresser, daughter, and neighbor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer: I received this item for free and in return I am supplying an honest review. I'm so disappointed in this product. I really wanted to love it! There are a few good things....the packaging is great, the 360 degree 9 foot swivel cord and it looks nice and feels nice in my hand. The cons far outweigh those items. First, there is no indicator that it is ready to use. No beeping sound or color change. You just have to wing it. I also don't like the limited heat settings. It's supposed to be for dry or damp hair but there is nothing about that in the directions. My current straightener is a dual one as well and the heat setting vary based on if your hair is dry or damp. I tried this one with damp hair and the setting I use while it's dry seemed way too hot. For the price of this I expected it to be better than my current one that cost 5 times less than this one. I found myself wanting to use my old one instead....Disappointed overall in this straightener.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To be sure I could give a thorough review, I tested this product for a week before adding this post. I will start with the pros: This iron is sleek and the packaging is desirable, in terms of presentation I am pleased. This iron is lightweight which is nice, it has a long cord which gives me plenty of room to look at my hair from different angels while styling. The heat up time is quick and my hair stays straight all throughout the day. It doesn't pull my hair out and glides easy. It didn't damage my hair. I've received several compliments on how great my styling looked throughout the course of this last week. Cons: The only issue I had was that the cord wasn't staying in the wall very well. I tried different outlets to assure that it wasn't just a problem with the outlet, but it happened on every outlet. In turn, I had to bend the electrical prongs to get the cord to stay in the outlet. All in all though, I would purchase this product and I would recommend it.

Replaced my 1inch nano because the numbers are unreadable on the dial, been searching for a digital one, this was the best I could find. Only used it twice so far but I have no complaints, seems to work as well as the 1st one.
