I originally had a BaByliss Ultra Thin 1 1/2in, that died after 9 years. 9 YEARS! I decided to switch to this one for my new straightener, as I really liked the temp buttons vs the wheel, and the vents. While its a little heavier than the ultra thin, it still feels good in hand, and just as simple to use.
I have thick hair strands, and usually run at around 410 degrees. The ultra thin would often get pretty warm around the handle - not too hot or uncomfortable to hold, but def warm. This one doesnt seem to do this as bad which is a major plus as well.
I am really happy with this purchase and definitely feel confident that this one will last me at least another 9 years! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new straightener.

This vented straightener is amazing!! It leaves my hair looking smooth and shiny. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a product I received for free in exchange for an honest review. I have very thick curly hair that is a little longer than shoulder length. I have used many many straighteners over the years and this is by FAR my favorite. I was able to straighten my hair in UNDER 30 minutes. I have another brand that is fairy new and it takes multiple passes and at least 45+ minutes. I hope this straightener last forever but if not I'll buy another asap! Would recommend to anyone that wants beautiful straight smooth hair!!

The Best Flat Iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was kinda skeptical since I have thick curly hair but the results blew me away. Not only did this iron get my hair straight, but the results lasted longer than other flat irons that I've used in the past. This flat iron heats up fast and is ready to go. I have no complaints except I wish I hadn't waited so long to try it.

Flat irons typically can't handle my thick 3A curls. This straightener took care of them so easily on a low-heat setting. What normally takes three hours barely took one! The heat also didn't damage my hair. I'm so excited to have the option of straightening again, and absolutely recommend this to anyone.
