Best for Pets

We purchased a Rocket -Pro a few years ago and it served us well and did a great job. Having moved to a larger home and some pet additions, we again trusted Shark to do the job. We purchased a Rotator Pet-Plus and we were amazed how much pet hair and dander it picked up.Being a long life Hoover customer for 30 years we will always buy Shark!!

Best vacuum I have EVER owned

I have had this vacuum for 8 years and it has been amazing. I have four kids, two dogs and two cats; every time I used the Rotator Pro, I was always shocked at how much dirt, dust and hair it would pick up. This machine has moved houses with us, has been dropped, has been kicked and has been knocked over a countless number of times and it has never cracked, snapped, separated or lost suction (except when clogged with Christmas pine tree needles). It really is the best vacuum I have ever owned. I am here today looking for a replacement because I believe the internal belt has seen its last days (smells of rubber burning). The belt is sealed inside and I cannot get to it without cracking the whole thing open. Even that doesn't bother me as I have had this vacuum for 8 years and it has been a superior cleaning machine. I have always liked the Lift-Away ability and I am hoping to find a newer, updated vacuum. I still have my two dogs and my two cats and only one child left in the house. I am tempted to get this same model again but I want to see if Shark has developed any better technologies with their newer vacuums.

I Purchased an NV501 and found out the straight nozzle doesn’t come with this unit tried to purchase it and been waiting three months because it’s out of stock very disappointed

I bought this vacuum for my friend who was moving into an apartment in my area. He needed a really good vacuum cleaner so I bought him this one. He said that he loved it!

Simply the best

I have been buying Shark vacuums for years, I currently own 2, this one and a cordless stick vacuum. This one is the family vacuum, I call it that because if you have kids and pets you have some big messes to clean up. The Shark Rotator professional takes care of all of the mess with minimal effort. I did not think I needed a vacuum with a rotating head until I owned one, using a regular vacuum that does not swivel just gives you added work. The rotating head saves me time and hassle. The suction is superior compared to other vacuums, it picks up goldfish and popcorn like a pro. The lift-away portion is a nice added feature, rather than pulling the entire vacuum around you can just lift the smaller and lighter portion. The vacuum is easy to clean, the filters are easy to come by and replace.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn’t work

I got this for Xmas and finally got time to put together. Only to find out that the wand doesn’t click into the pod as per instruction number 2. So I can’t vacuum as it doesn’t stay in the base. I have tried clicking the wand release to try and get it to click in and still won’t click in. Very frustrating. I’m returning it.

Do not last long

I bought this vacuum, couple years ago, I used every week, to clean my carpets and I like to use the attachments, Well, Last year vaccum broke, the Brush roll on/off, didn't work at all, I bought the whole mother board to get it replace wtih a expert, a month later it broke again, the same problem, the brushroll won't turn, so dissapointed, spend so much money in vacuum that is completely made of cheap plastic.

Great while it worked

This vacuum seemed great at first, was powerful and exceeded our expectations. However, I’ve only owned this vacuum for a little over a year now and the tubing cracked and the switch to turn on the roller no longer works. If I was a crazy vacuumer maybe that could justify the use, but I am far from that. I would advise to stay clear of this one as I expect a vacuum to last longer than this.
