[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this special Lunar Year Barbie in exchange for my honest review. First of all this was perfect timing for my daughters 9th birthday! She absolutely treasures this Barbie !!! She plays with it all the time even choosing this one over her other Barbies. It's designed beautifully in my opinion from the clothing to skin color to features on her face. I would definitely recommend this one so would my daughter!

Lunar New Year Barbie Signature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was thrilled to receive the Barbie Signature Lunar New Year collector doll. As it is collectible, we decided to keep the Barbie in its original packaging, which is beautiful! The front of the box highlights the beauty of the doll and on the back there is a description of the design inspiration for the dolls dress and accessories. The doll itself is gorgeous, and the orange, red and blue dress features traditional Chinese prints. This is sure to be a treasured collectible doll for many years to come and we look forward to building our collection as new Lunar New Year dolls are released.

Beautiful intricate detail

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love how detailed she is and how colorful he outfit is. This Barbie definitely captivates Lunar New Year. We were a little disappointed that she didnt come with any traditional accessories- however maybe with this being a more collector piece rather than a play piece this is more so the normal.

Lunar New Year Barbie 2023

She has long, dark brown, silky soft hair that is styled simply in a small knot with a white crown and earrings to match. Her face is very pretty with bright red lips and red eyeshadow. She has painted red fingernails and her strappy wedged heels come in a matching red and are super cute, I love them! I do wish they were visible but her dress is very long and covers them, the dress is really pretty though and the length suits it well. It has 3 panels in a medium blue on the front with an intricate flower pattern running down them with the other sections of the skirt in a red gradation that starts in the bodice as a light pink. Also on the bodice is another intricately designed flower pattern that runs from the center up to the sleeves, I think this is my favorite part of her overall design as it is very colorful and pretty. There is a red trim that borders the bodice along the neckline and sleeves and from there the sleeves bell out in a delicate white fabric that runs past the wrists. The waist is cinched with a red fabric with a blue cord wrapped around it. To my delight the dress is secured in the back with snaps rather than Velcro. She comes with a thin transparent shawl that is a somewhat shiny material in a matching blue color with a similar yet simplified pattern in white. Lastly, under the skirt is a white satin slip. Also included is a white 2-piece stand that hugs the doll around her thighs and a Certificate of Authenticity. The box she comes packaged in is quite simple, but very beautiful and I think would make this doll a good option for keeping in-box. It is embellished with the same flower pattern from her dress with gold foiling and the background inside the box is a similar blue with pretty clouds that pop forward. My kids and I have been enjoying having her displayed in our hallway where we can admire her daily, we are very happy to have her.

Lunar Barbie

It was hard not to open the box. Let alone play with her. My niece just loved how beautiful she was. She loved her dress and the story.
