Such a Beautiful Doll - A Must Have for Collectors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up playing with Barbie dolls, and as I got older that turned into collecting. And, I have now been collecting Barbie dolls for over 30 years. Each and every year I find myself waiting for the annual releases, wondering if Mattel and the Barbie brand will outdo themselves from past doll releases...and, every year I am amazed at the quality dolls that are released. This year is no exceptional. Wow! What a way to start off 2023 than with this stunning Barbie Signature Lunar New Year Collector Doll. The dress, with all its intricate detailing really catches your eye. I like the combination of the blue and red coloring, with the white sleeves to the doll's dress. As soon as I saw the doll, it was hard to turn away as it was just so stunning, and had so much to offer with beauty and detailing for a doll. Mattel did it again, and now I see this doll selling out in record time, as it truly is a must have for collectors. Even if you have never collected Barbie dolls before, this would be a great starting point. I love my Barbie Signature Lunar New Year Collector Doll, and it looks great on my shelf with the other previous Barbie annual releases.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very pretty doll that reminds our daughter of a popular movie she likes to watch. The materials used for her dress are super soft with really nice details for the Lunar New Year. My daughter really loves her shoes which are cute red platforms. She is in a fixed pose with one arm and one leg slightly bent but sits nicely on her included stand. The doll itself is made really well and even her hair feels pretty nice. I think the hair style in the back could be slightly better but is gorgeous from the front. Due to how they are packaged I've noticed most dolls tend to get this way. The box it came in was also beautiful. Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys Barbie

Lunar New Year Festiveness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great doll with many points that bring it genuine character. From the stunning colors used on the robe and the designs used throughout. What also stood out was the face sculpt that is really complementary to the overall doll. The details of the face are also subtle and add to the traditional look of the doll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part, this doll is put together very nicely. The quality of the dress isn't thin and flimsy but actually thicker and heavier. I like the details in how the hair looks. Her face makeup is subtle but nice. My only complaint on the make-up is her lipstick. There is a little spot where it's on her face and not lips. I do wish her arms could move, but as someone who displays in the box, it's ok for me, but she can't be posed for others who will have her out. The packaging is beautiful. The box itself is very detailed and gives a good description on the back. If this is a doll you are thinking about buying to collect, it is worth it.

The authenticity of her outfit is stunning. As always her possibility is great. My daughter loves to display her Barbie’s with the included doll stand. Her hair is done beautifully and even has painted nails! This new Lunar New Year doll will provide hours of joy for your little doll! Don’t hesitate buying this for your little one, or for yourself.

Daughters jaw dropped as soon as she saw the box. Does not compare to other dolls she had gotten before. Loved it.

Beautiful Barbie

A Beautiful Doll that encourages play and learning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is even more beautiful in person. Her face has a lovely, serene expression and a beautiful outfit. My daughter and I really enjoyed the back of the box, so much so that we did more reading on Lunar New Year and the Apsaras. My daughter has named the Lunar New Year Barbie "Luna" and informed me that Luna is best friends with 2 of her other favorite Barbies, Fauna and Birdie (see photos). I love any toy that encourages my daughter to learn about new things and I love watching her play with this doll and come up with stories for her and her other Barbies.
