[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a HP Spectre 360 prior that was a good laptop, but I could not upgrade the RAM and it was slowing down when I put it to task. The new ThinkPad P16 Gen2 is amazing. Its much quieter, its quicker as expected, and it has not been bogged down when I am tasking it. It is larger in size and heavier than my HP, but I typically dont carry with me to often as I have a Surface Pro for on the move. All in all very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a powerful laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to replace my ThinkPad P1 Gen 3. Main reason was I needed a more powerful graphics card to deal with my CAD and 3D scanning needs. I've had the machine now for approximately two weeks and am very satisfied with my purchase.
Advantages: A computing and graphics beast! I can have a high polygon Sketchup file and several instances of RhinoCAD open and there are no freezes while the hamster wheel turns or lockups of the software. Converting large 3D CAD files is almost instant compared to the P1!
Cons: Drinking less tea/coffee as I don't have to walk away while it thinks! It is about twice the thickness and weight of the P1 but I expected that and understand it is needed to accommodate the graphics card and required cooling. The cooling fan is also noisier and comes on more often, for me this is acceptable to get the required performance I need to be productive.

From the performance to the options such as back lit keyboard, no smudge touch screen this beast is the best. The screen brightness and resolution is better than my new 6k Dell monitor.
