Grinds well, hard to clean, didn't last very long.

Does a good job grinding and mixing spice powders. But since you can't separate the bowl from the motor and you can't allow the motor to get wet it's very hard to clean. After using it a bit too long the motor fuse burnt out and I had to buy another.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This looked bigger in the picture. It does grind well, but it's messy and it holds a very small amount. This should be advertised for a single cup or a 4 cup pot. Very disappointed.
