I had the exact model before about 10 years ago and lost it when moving. So I have been looking for the Mr Coffee grinder because it works great and at a great price less than 15 dollars. I don't use it for coffee it use it for grinding pepper and grinding sulfur crystals into sulfur powder for home remedies. Its good for any spice and cleans up quickly with a damp paper towel. The last one I had worked great for years and so I was happy to be able to get another one. I do not recommend products because no one ever asks me my opinion (thank goodness) on anything. if someone did ask me about coffee grinders I'd say there might be better grinders out there but this one I use daily and it was a bargain because of the low price and it works and lasts for years

I bought this grinder about a month ago and it is the best. It is light, grinds quick, and easy to clean. I also use it to grind flax seed for the roughage and vitamin content. It does a great job on almost anything.

I bought Mr Coffee Grinder black from Florida in Jan 2017. Brought to Australia and used it only once. Second time I tried to use it. It did not start. I tried to use it on different places like kitchen, living room and bed room but it refused to grind coffee. its depressing. I need to know the solution.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. However, we do not recommend using our grinders in different countries due to the difference in voltage. All of our products that are sold in the United States and Canada are manufactured and UL approved for 110-120 voltage, At this time, it is not possible to troubleshoot issue with your grinder as it is being used outside of the recommended guidelines.

I bought this coffee grinder (IDS 57) back in the mid 90's. I was always surprised that it lasted as long as it did, BUT I was still caught by surprise when it went 'belly up' last week. Should I give it a proper burial? Or just chuck it into the recycling bin?

This is a piece of junk. Parts were missing from the get go. what a waste of money. I would never buy another mr coffee.

So nice to find virtually the same coffee grinder that I had gotten from my mom many years ago. The basic great products often seem to disappear but this one has definitely stood the test of time and I was relieved to find that it's still available (totally my fault that the previous one broke).

This grinder was cheap in price which is nice. Cons: very uneven grind even if you pulse. Static clings makes a huge mess and the poorly designed cup does not work well at all to catch all the coffee grinds. I regret buying this and returning it is not even worth my trouble. Hope this review helps.
