Bought this Mr. Coffee 12-Cup coffeemaker for my dad. Haven't had it two months and the handle broke off. We have always had a Mr. Coffee and this was the first time that something has broken so soon. Usually, we wear out the coffeemaker. Will read a Consumer Report on coffeemakers when it comes to purchasing another coffeemaker.

Terrible quality of the beaker

Just bought this recently and with the 1st use, the beaker just gave away. Just placed it on the floor and the glass cracked. Looking at other reviews, looks like its a very cheap quality glass used which gives away soon.

Guess The Number of Cups

I bought this about 1 month ago. Now the markings on the side of the glass pot are coming off. I am going to have to estimate the number of cups I am making in the morning and the correct amount of coffee to add to the filter.

Will not turn off

I bought it slightly over a month ago and it’s supposed to turn off after 2-4 hours of keeping warm. But it doesn’t.

If your coffee maker is not turning off, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non working outlet. To remedy this issue, 1st, check if there is no physical damage on its cord. 2nd if there's none, try unplugging the coffee brewer and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. 3rd Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Please do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker's performance. Try cleaning the coffee maker with a vinegar solution if it hasn't been cleaned recently. If these measures won't work and the problem still persists take note that our coffee maker has 1 year limited warranty. Please contact us directly so we can help you with warranty replacement. Defective Glass Carafe

I purchased this 6 months ago because it was priced very well and wanted it as a possible replacement for an older machine my elderly Father had. I just opened it the other day and set it up. It brewed great and was easy to use. As soon as I went to pour the coffee, the handle slipped off of the glass container and hot coffee spilled all over me (thank goodness I was fully dressed) and my clothes, the counter, the cabinets and the floor. I could see that the top black lid unit slipped off the glass but when it did it appears to have disengaged the cheaper silver metal that is holding it on the outside bottom of the glass unit. I tried to put it back together and thought I had (I am tenacious) but it did it again on the next brew. This carafe was inexpensively made somewhere and I do not have the receipt from 6 months ago. I tried contacting customer service but didn't know what option to choose. Suggestions please? I would like to order a replacement thermal carafe, if possible, to prevent this from happening again. Do you have any suggestions on which one will work with the under brew mechanism? The coffee maker works great and I don't want to scrap it.
