Worse Mr. Coffee product ever made and UNSAFE.

I am surprised that Underwriters Lab allowed this product to be sold. It leaks from condensation around the lid. It leaks onto the burner plate from the basket when the pot is removed for any reason. You can even fill the top without it leaking onto the burner. I am afraid to use it anymore due to risk of an electrical short or fire. Not the quality of previous Mr. Coffee products.

Handle Broke Off while hand washing

I just recently bought this and I live alone and only use it a few days a week and the handle broke right of while I was rinsing it out? This is so dangerous and I also bought one for my mother and now I'm afraid hers will brake om her. Mr. Coffee® 12-Cup Coffeemaker Model: BVMC-SC12WH2-1

Worde coffee maker ever made. A real safety hazard. I would not recommend this item for any of my friends or family. Maybe I need to find another manufacturer?? My previous Mr. Coffee had more Customer Focused built in. Ahame!

It is OBVIOUS that you don't want an HONEST REVIEW of this product. It follows much the same issues that other post that have been presented. You can't handle the truth and continue to BLOCK my words. Shame on you.

Very simple to use, but made with very cheap parts

I bought this coffee maker because I just wanted a basic model and my last Mr. Coffee worked for nearly 15 years. I have only had this model for 4 months and the on/off switch no longer works. It is stuck in the on position.

Stopped sucking water after a month

If your coffee maker is not brewing, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non-working outlet. For a possible fix, we advise you to try resetting your coffeemaker by completely emptying the water reservoir and leaving the coffee maker unplugged for 5 minutes. You may also check the troubleshooting steps below:

- Plug the unit into a different wall outlet to ensure that the unit is receiving enough power. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips, and power converters or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker's performance.
- Insert the filter basket correctly.
- Place the decanter correctly.
- Add the desired amount of coffee.
- Also, try cleaning the coffee maker with a vinegar solution if it hasn't been cleaned recently.

Why is there no instruction manual for this model? I know it is basic, but I have never used one with a water filter and wanted to read something about it.
