One good point is the arm tension redesign looks like it might work without having to disassemble to retighten to keep the arms from flopping. The tension required to assemble the back and arms to the seat is absurd. Maybe the components were not manufactured to specifications. Maybe complaints of inadequate cushioning and lumbar support over the years has resulted in over-stuffing the seat and lumbar of this chair. Unable to sit back into chair as lumbar pushes you forward and because of the "lumbar support" seating area is lost meaning your thighs are minimally supported If you put your shoulders to the back of the chair you will be looking at the ceiling. If you are not a big tall person probably no problems but why buy a big chair. Too bad my old one went out with the trash that night. Oh yeah the "Faux Leather" also flakes off to the white cloth backing after a few years.
I’m very satisfied with my Turcotte chair. It was delivered on time easy to assemble and very Comfortable. The price was reasonable for this particular chair.
At first the chair was great. Within 3 months of daily use the PU on the backrest has torn and the seat cushion has compressed to nearly nothing. At under 200lbs I'd expect the chair to hold up much better than that.
Easy to assemble and a good value for the price. Would like a wider range of height adjustment. I could use the chair to be about a 1/2 inch lower so it can fit under my desk. But the adjustment is very limited. Other than that it is a comfortable chair.
