Staples Turcotte Luxura Desk Chair

This chair was shipped via UPS and was received by me as I was working in my garage. The box was falling apart but I planned to put it together right away. There is a Staples store near me so if anything was missing/damaged I would know right away. It went together extremely easily. All parts were there undamaged. The back can be locked or unlocked via under seat lever for rocking. The only negative I can add is that the weight of the chair either stand-alone or boxed was not specified on the website. Even the UPS delivery man did not know when he 'handed it over' to me. I like to know the weight for obvious reasons. I'm only 160lbs. I'm guessing the assembled chair weighs about 30 lbs. Couldn't beat the price.

After sale price and staples rewards cost me under $50.00. Beats the 1 arm swivel stool I have been sitting on for the past year. (1 arm swivel stool was custom made after I broke one arm and the back off of my office chair by leaning back too far.)

The chair is ok for the price paid but it isn't all that comfortable. Does not roll well on the office mat which is plastic. It was easy to assemble.

nice chair on sale when we needed it

Our old chair had a broken arm so we went looking for a new one. This was a good fit for us and the price was right on sale. Assembly was straightforward with clear enough instructions to not have to back-track. Parts were packed in separate pouches for each step making it easy to get the correct screws at the right time. The included Allen wrench saved a trip to the workshop and will be added to the growing collection of miscellaneous tools of that sort. The proof is in the sitting and the wife likes it.
