Good chair for the money..

I got this chair on sale. Great price for the quality. I didn't expect top of the line nor something that would fall apart after a week and I got what I expected. It was very easy to assemble. About 45 min. but I had some interruptions so let's say 30 min. or less. The only complaint I have is the seat cushion is not very well padded and neither is my behind. So I need to use a cushion if I'm going to sit for more than 30 minutes or more. Luckily I keep my trusty cushion next to my desk for exactly that reason.

Not much cushion in seat low armrests

I had high hopes for this chair. It looked nice online and was an amazing deal so I ordered it for in store pick up. Unfortunately they didn't have one for me to try. Life happened and 17 days after purchase I finally had a chance to put the chair together. It looks good in person but the seat has very little cushion. My daughter's Montessa II has a more comfortable seat. Her chair also has higher armrests that make typing much more comfortable than on this chair. No matter how I adjust the height of the chair or the sliding tray for the keyboard I can't get the correct position to rest my arms while typing. The good points of the chair are that it looks nice the high seat back is comfortable and the depth of the chair is just right. But since you have only 14 days to return furniture purchases I seem to be stuck with the chair and will have to make the best of it.

These chairs are great They a fairly easy to assemble if you don't tighten all the screws until the end

Better Posture Deal

When I sat in this chair at our favorite Staples store I knew immediately that it would provide much better lumbar support than the chair I had. The old chair I had was beginning to wear out. I thought of doing some do-it-yourself re-upholstery but when I saw the chair's price I decided grabbing it would save time and money in the long run in addition to promoting better posture in my office and fewer back-aches later. When I considered all those factors coupled with a price I could not ignore I made the decision to take it home. As it turns out the assembly was wonderfully sensible quick and easy. All things considered I'm happy.

It wasn't exactly as I had hoped

The chair at the store was much more comfortable than the one I actually recieved when I ordered one in line. I went to the store first but the only chair left in stock was the floor model and they wanted me to pay an extra $10 because the chair was already assembled even though everyone had been testing it. It was easy to put together only took about 15 minutes for it to be done. The seat definitely could use more padding. The only other issue I had was I am short and I have a hard time adjusting the seat so that my feet are touching the floor and I am high enough to type at my desk.

Great price and great chair!

I have purchased 2 Staples® Turcotte Luxura® High Back Executive Chair Black by Quill Brand chairs for my home office and soon I will be purchasing another for my son's room. I have recommended these chairs for our conference room. No other office supply company can beat Staples price. The chair looks and feels great. The padding on the back and on the seat is perfect. The wheels are smooth and the mechanicals on the chair to make it go up and down works with no issues. My teenage daughter assembled it with no problems. She had the chair up and ready for me to use in less than an hour. Also the free and speedy delivery is always an added bonus with Staples!
