I received my chair when I was told I would and it was easy to assemble. I am very happy with the chair and plan to use it a lot as I write my next book.
It's packed well with no extra stuffing making it easy to remove the parts. The individual screw packets corresponding with the instructions eases the assembly. The page identifying the settings of chair adjustments very helpful. A good purchase that I am pleased with.
I've had this chair since the 5th of January 2016 and I'm still amazed at how good it feels especially when compared to the piece of junk I had before. Even when that thing was new it wasn't comfortable at all. A few minor nits that aren't worth a full star so if I had half stars i'd ding the chair half a star for the few minor nits. First the molding process -- or rather the extraction process -- left a few flaws in the armrests. I didn't check the base all that closely but they might exist there too. I was super impressed with the way the parts were separated according to the step they were to be used. However if you don't pay attention to the pictures (or can't see them well as in my case) you might put things together wrong. The armrests and the back are no-brainers but the seat plate can be put on backwards if you're not careful. I would like to see the screw holes spaced differently for the front and back. For instance put them closer together in front than in back and it would be impossible to make the error that I did only discovering it after putting the chair nearly all the way together and discovering that there was not enough room for the back to fit. It was no big deal to take off the armrests and remove the seat from the seat plate and turn it around etc. but making the simple change of different screw spacing or otherwise making it impossible for the seat plate to fit the wrong way would make things harder to mess up. The finished product though is top notch especially at the price I paid for it at the time. Good job Staples! Tom
