between high back and mid back

It's a little lower than the high back I had. The seat padding is not as thick as the one I had. But for the lack of padding in the seat it's fairly comfortable. If the price would have been any higher I would have given it a 2. I certainly would have sent it back if I had paid the original price. Guess that was why it was on sale.

My wife loves this chair! - I prefer something a little softer. It was a great buy for the price and with free delivery to my doorstep I couldn't pass this up.
