Cheap Knobs Ruin a 5 Star Product

Overall, this product has been a very reliable tool in our kitchen. The one negative, and I see that I am not the only customer complaining about the issue, is the timer knob breaks and is not replaceable. A very inexpensive plastic knob should not be included on this product. The other issue is the printing on the face of the oven begins to fade. I can no longer see temperatures or times as the graphics have worn off. For a one dollar knob improvement I would rate this oven as five stars, but because GE’s failure to provide a resource for replacement knob, I can only give it three stars. Get it together GE.

Love the airfry but wish I'd kept my toaster

My family and I love the air fry function of this smart product--potato chips instead of popcorn is a favorite treat. But it take forever to get a good toast on bread, and we usually have to toast twice at 6 or 7. Not sure if there is something wrong with my particular oven, but having to wait 10-12 minutes for toast every morning is frustrating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the Air Fry 7-in-1 Toaster Oven. It does a great job when I am air frying. The rest of the settings do pretty well. The one thing I have to complain about it the lackluster operating manual that came with it. It didn't have any information in it other than what to do when air frying. I have had to just learn by trial and error. I think they need to update the manual. Otherwise though, it does what I would expect it to do.

Bad knob

Less than a month old and the timer knob made of cheap plastic has split open and is unusable. The only way to turn the oven on is with pliers. Stop using cheap plastic!

We’re so sorry to hear that your new toaster oven isn’t heating up. We know it’s incredibly frustrating when an appliance doesn’t work like you expect, but it’s even worse when it’s something so new. We do recommend making sure that the unit is securely plugged in and that the timer is being set any time the unit is being used, as it will not heat without the timer being set. If you are already setting the timer and the unit is securely connected to power then we recommend checking out page 10 of your owner’s manual for information on how to take advantage of your warranty. Some issues but a decent appliance.

Maybe I'm just not used to it yet. Most things are either still raw or burned. I'm disappointed that there is no light when the unit is running. The controls are very hard to turn. Hopefully when I've had a little more experience with it, I'll learn how to use it successfully.

I had to replace mine after I stupidly cleaned it with easy off.l and ruined it. I had it less than a year. But I loved it so much I replaced it with the same model.

I am pleasantly surprised with the unit. It does a great job. I especially like the way it toasts and broils. Other air fryers that I have used only have two heating rods on top and bottom and do an uneven job toasting. This unit has four rods on top and it does a much better job toasting and broiling.
